Claims Support Officer – Insurance/Claims Industry   

About the Position: We are hiring 14 + dedicated Claims Support Officers for our Brisbane CBD based client. As a Claims Support Officer, you will deliver essential services to internal and external customers efficiently and seamlessly. Your responsibilities include handling in and outbound customer calls, gathering information, administration, as well as finalisation or escalation of claims.  
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional customer service (inbound and outbound), collecting information and achieving key service levels in the Contact Centre.
  • Maintain accurate records to meet business requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with different teams to ensure seamless customer service delivery.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Handle requests related to settled and closed claims promptly, ensuring high levels of customer service.
  • Adhere to records management policies and procedures.
About the Successful Applicant:
  • Previous call centre/administrative experience, with high-volume processing in a customer-focused environment and/or a call centre environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Ability to manage mid - high-volume telephone calls professionally.
  • Reasoning skills, to assess information provided by customers and escalate where required
  • Highly developed customer experience skills, emphasising empathy, patience, and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in using desktop PCs and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment checks (Police Check, Referencing, Interview and VEVO checks)
  • Prior experience working in the insurance industry highly regarded
