About the role
Based on the Southside of Brisbane, this position would suit a person who has front counter experience and some service experience with pump, irrigation or plumbing products. You will be required to provide customer support for walk-in trade and retail customers, take phone enquiries, look for products or items for replacement, provide technical or troubleshooting support, provide general product advice and take details for the design of pump or irrigation systems.

Duties

  • Provide customer support for walk-in and phone enquiries
  • Promote items from irrigation to pumps, filtration, fittings and plumbing products 
  • Identify the customer’s needs or provide a solution to their enquiry
  • Source products from suppliers
  • Process sales and data enter the relevant information into the CRM system   
  • Conduct minor workshop warranty pump service, repair and assembly work   

Skills and attributes  

  • Preferably have an understanding of irrigation, pump or plumbing products  
  • Have a demonstrated background in front counter or customer service 
  • Have the ability to work out practical problems and provide solutions
  • Have sound written and friendly verbal communication skills
  • Be comfortable with multitasking across the business
