The company 
Our client is a well-known and trusted national distributor of LV electrical consumables. You will be representing a genuine market leader that is highly regarded and widely used across Australia and internationally.
The position 
As Projects Sales Support, you will manage the administrative and commercial aspects of the quotations and projects. You will also support external customers such as Contractors & Suppliers whilst also supporting the external sales team with day-to-day activities.

This is a full time (Monday to Friday) office based role. Our client is based on Brisbane’s north side and do provide flexible working hours.
Duties include:  
  • Provide information requested by the client and the sales team within given timeframe.
  • Produce and follow up on quotes and contracts, whilst managing the correct documentation.
  • Proactive approach to achieve monthly sales budget.
  • Submission of quotations on timely basis.
  • Coordination with internal departments and warehouse to ensure timely responses to internal sales team and customers.
  • Liaise with the Suppliers/Purchasing department to ensure stock support.
  • Liaise and develop relationships with Key Project Contractors & Suppliers to ensure maximum project opportunities.
  • Coordinate with returns department in case of any discrepancy raised by the client.
  • Support finance to manage overdue accounts.
Skills & experience required: 
  • Electrical background is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a sales/coordination/admin role.
  • Knowledge of quotations and contract preparations and requirements.
  • Ability to analyse information quickly, to problem solve and think strategically.
  • Proven ability to proactively acquire necessary technical knowledge, skills and judgement to perform the role more effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively to create a result-driven, team-orientated environment.
  • Sales Force/SAP knowledge is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential.
