The position:
Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, you'll lead the sales team, crafting and executing the sales plan for sustainable growth. Your leadership capabilities will be key in fostering a dynamic sales environment.
Duties include:
  • Collaborate with the National Sales Manager to develop and implement the WA sales plan, ensuring alignment with business and marketing goals.
  • Lead and mentor the sales team, fostering an environment of open and ongoing communication and productive sales meetings, ensuring they meet sales and margin targets.
  • Skillfully execute pricing and margin strategies, effectively managing profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
  • Actively engage with industry associations, promotions, and key customer relationships, elevating the company's profile and influence in the market.
  • Regularly appraise all sales staff to formulate training plans and succession planning.
  • Training, monitoring and use of CRM system.
Your key skills and competencies will include:
  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or an Electrical trade qualification is preferred.
  • Established connections with Tier 2 & 3 contractors.
  • Demonstrated experience at a senior level in achieving sales targets including a track record of winning and maintaining new business accounts.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain long-term profitable relationships across various levels of customer organisations.
  • Strong planning and implementation skills to ensure planned outcomes are achieved.
  • Excellent leadership and coaching abilities to motivate and develop the sales team.
