This brand is a relative newcomer to the Australian market however is well established globally as a leading OEM for products used predominantly in the power generation sector. 

Our customer is part of a larger group of companies that are recognised as a global powerhouse in the power generation industry.

Due to a fast start and a full order book, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Technical Operations Manager to lead the planning, installation, commissioning and operational safety of the business across Australia.

Role:

You will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:-
  • Planning, installation, commissioning of loadbanks, transformers and other ancilliary equipment on customer sites
  • Initial development and adherance of safety standards and procedures including SWMS, JSA etc
  • Ensure that all equipment is serviced, maintained, verified and available for rapid deployment to customer sites.
  • Act as the technical authority for the team regarding troubleshooting, faults, breakdowns and repairs
  • Deliver high level of customer service and satisfaction
  • Mentor the technical team to create a high performance culture
   
To be successful in this role you must have:-
  • Electrical Trade background with an in depth knowledge of power generation, diesel generators, BESS/batteries, transformers or heavy industrial environments.
  • Previous operational management or leadership experience in the electrical industry, ideall leading teams iin the field
  • Previous experience developing safe work procedures, SWMS, JSA's, PPE and other safety or environmental procedures
  • Be prepared to travel and understand the demands of a commisioning management role. (Site travel is limited but expected from time to time)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to consult to your clients on technical issues
  • Honest and reliable in all facets of your work
